The latest version of the content model (v1.23) has been adopted by the NGDS technical team review. Please use this version for future services, which will require differentiating the version in the service name. When deploying with ArcMap products, the newest version does not allow "." in names of web services, so the use of "_" has been implemented as such: AZHeatFlow1_23 Please use this naming convention for future Heat Flow services. Description: 

This spreadsheet indicates the content requested for observation features representing Heat Flow measurements. The content model is based on specifications gathered from the SMU Heat Flow database, and has been extended to include the specifics of Heat Flow data from other parties.

Minimal required features include Observation URI, Well Name, Header URI, Label, County, State, Latitude and Longitude Degrees, Source, Driller Depth, Interval, Thermal Conductivity, Gradient, Heat Flow, and Heat Flow Method.

Discussion: 

Note that thermal gradient observations based on two (or more) temperature measurements in a borehole that are not converted to heat flow measurements for whatever reason (thermal conductivity uncertainty...) should be reported as multiple BoreholeTemperature Observation features.
